Ralph Lauren Romance

Did a tear sheet for my Commercial 188 class. This was by far the most patient and time invested shot I have ever done. This was shot with continuous light sources from one tungsten light to the rear, 4 flash lights, 2 LED flash lights and reflectors and gobos.

After doing this assignment I felt much more skilled and patient when shooting my subjects.

Palm Springs Holiday

My girlfriend and I took a holiday weekend from our busy lives of work and school. It was great to relax and refocus on us. While we were there we went on the Palm Springs Aerial Tram up to Mount San Jacinto State Park. It had a great view of the desert, and we were told on a clear day we can see the Salton sea. Unfortunately it wasn't clear.

It got really cold as the sun went down, but the city lights glowed warm as it darker.

Had an amazing weekend with an amazing girl.

Andy & Jenn

Andy and Jenn are great friends of mine and I was happy to shoot them on their wedding day. They started as high school sweet hearts and are now bound together in marriage.

Philippe The Original French Dipped Sandwiche

Earlier this month, my girlfriend and I were running errands in Los Angeles. Remembered about "Philippe The Original French Dipped Sandwiche" and decided to make a stop there since we were in the area.

Someone recommended me the pork sandwich, and I was pleased with the recommendation. It was moist and flavorful, unlike the turkey which was flavorful but on the dry side. It was a great experience eating at this historic land mark on rainy night in L.A..

Robert Yee is a Orange County Photographer and I was fortunate to shot along with on this great day. Despite the rain, the wedding took place inside. Captured amazing images and even more when the sun and blue skies came out with straggling patches of clouds.

Progression

Took a look back through some archived photos. Realized where I was years ago when I started photography and where I am now. Saw the progression, style, and techniques I have developed. Totally tripped me out.

Did a lighting assignment for Commercial Photography. We took a break and goofed around to get the shutter bugs out.

San Francisco: China Town

Took a trip down to China town. It was a nice and cool day to eat dim sum, street shop, and eat cookies for good fortune.
