Stop Motion Blur

This was a stop motion blur project I did in the semester of 09. I couldnt think of a simple concept, until my girlfriend mentioned an idea with marshmallow guns. From there we rolled and had fun with it. Ill process the digital versions as well when I get around to doing them.

First Hasselblad experience

First images I took with a Hasselblad paired with a 120mm f4 makro. Very unique camera and love the beautiful sound it makes. An engulfing sound as if its swallows the images you take.

Hustlin Carneys

Cant blame them, they're just doing their job. People spending mass amounts of money to try to win a prize that cost less than a couple dollars to make. In the end, the game usually wins in the favor for the carney.

In good company

Enjoyed the Orange county Fair with friends this past summer. It was a great night, not to hot nor to cold. A nice cool summer night with the smell of food cooking in the air, with the night sky lit from the lights of rides zig zagging, flip flopping, and spinnin in more ways at the same time. All within good company.

Honest living

I give credit to the people that work at the fair. Sometimes working longer hours than they should, and in small cramped spaces along side 10 other colleagues. Providing us with tasty treats and good times.

Mercado

At county fairs I start to see more and more "As seen on TV" products being pitched. Its way better than seeing it on TV. The feeling of being pressured and needing to buy things that you think will make life easier. But in the end, you'll be out $19.99, and stuck with something you'll only use once.

Suds

Besides eating over priced greasy foods at the fair, I like have a good over price beer to along and wash it all down with.

Common Sense

MY girlfriend and I got to enjoy a band we never heard of before. Common Sense is a reggae rock band from south Orange County. They happen to be playing at the fair when we were there and sat in on both their sets.

Some of the people we sat next too where fans of theirs since 1994. It was great seeing and hearing something new.

This is the only reason why I got to the Orange County Fair when it is in town. Ive experienced everything else at the fair as a kid and now It results to trying new experiences with food.

Timmy and Jenn

This lovely couple was the main reason for the Kauai trip. Bringing family and friends together for their wedding. It was a blast shooting images of their wedding and enjoying the trip with them.

Island bird of Kauai

Ive heard of 2 stories about where they came from and how they got to be wild on the island.

One is that early Polynesians and Europeans brought chickens to Kauai. The Filipinos brought the brightly colored fighting cocks, and Walla, the wild chickens. Somehow they escaped into the wild and multiplied.

2nd is that it is said that the captivity was was destroyed by Hurricane ‘Iniki’ in 1992 , freeing them from their cages to roam and multiply.

Queens Bath

This place is amazing. You go through a neighborhood, take a hike through a lush forest, and across lava rocks to reach a beautiful coral pool. It was low tide and had just enough water for us to swim in.

Southside of Kauai

We went to Waimea Canyon. Grand Canyons Hawaiin cousin




Then went to Polihale State beach. There were 50 people including us on miles of beach. Very nice and secluded.
