Taken in the summer of 2006 with Sony P&S on our first trip together to San Francisco. This was our last morning spending the night at her sisters apartment. I remember the amazing breakfast her sister made us from scratch. Belgian waffles orange glaze.

Flash forward to today, celebrating the first anniversary of marriage with my wife.

Pumpkin Crumble Cake

So I have this weird issue about not eating baked fruits in pastries. I don't eat apple, cherry, peach, berry pies or cobblers. My wife loves them but for some reason I would be an instant loser at the county fair pie eating contest. Don't ask me why, but if I were to eat them I would probably only eat the crust.

So she found an alternative recipe with pumpkin. Maybe its because its no longer in it natural form and in pureed baby food texture. It could be also that my birthday is near Thanksgiving and I've got so use to being around it during my special day.

Creamy Chicken Lasagna

I begged my wife to add more creamy cheesy goodness the next time she makes this dish again. I experimented myself by adding sriracha hot sauce to it, and to my surprise it add a smokey kick flavor to the goodness.

My wife recently found a passion for cooking. As she whips up recipes she finds to her abilities, Ill be shooting and blogging her dishes. She already found her way to my heart from the beginning, and now found the alternate route to it.

Hensel Premium Porty Plus

Recently sold my studio lighting to down size my equipment, and work lighter. It's a solid system but was no fun lugging around for shoots. The new owner got a super deal and will serve him well.
