So I have this weird issue about not eating baked fruits in pastries. I don't eat apple, cherry, peach, berry pies or cobblers. My wife loves them but for some reason I would be an instant loser at the county fair pie eating contest. Don't ask me why, but if I were to eat them I would probably only eat the crust.
So she found an alternative recipe with pumpkin. Maybe its because its no longer in it natural form and in pureed baby food texture. It could be also that my birthday is near Thanksgiving and I've got so use to being around it during my special day.
